Stormsinger enhancements are available for the Stormsinger archetype (variant Bard). Introduced in Update 56.

Overview[edit]

This tree is based on a set of offensive enhancements focused on cold, electric, and sonic spells & SLAs.

Harness the thunderstorms to bring elemental destruction to your enemies.

Core Abilities[edit]

Stormsinger (enhancement): Each core ability you take in this tree, including this one, grants you +5 Electric, Cold, and Sonic Spellpower.

Lightning Strike (enhancement): Your Sonic and Cold spells have a 20% chance to cause a massive Lightning Strike whenever they hit an enemy. This lightning strike deals an extra 1d6 Electric damage per caster level. (This damage uses your electric spellpower and lore, and the originating spell's metamagics and max caster level)

Enhanced Bolt I: Your Lightning Strike damage is upgraded to deal 1d6+2 Electric damage per caster level.

Enhanced Bolt II: Your Lightning Strike is upgraded to add 1d3 stacks of Vulnerability when it goes off. The damage is upgraded to 1d6+4.

Enhanced Bolt III: Whenever your Lightning Strike goes off, the enemy is Frozen with no save for 3 seconds. +1 Caster Level and Max Caster Level with Sonic and Electric spells.

Master of Storms: +4 Charisma, +1 Evocation DCs. Your Lightning Strike now deals 1d6+6 damage per caster level. The freeze is upgraded to 5 seconds. +1 Caster Level and Max Caster Level with Sonic and Electric spells.

Note: The same Metamagic may not be chosen twice in the same tree. It does stack with Blightcaster enhancements, but not others such as Bombardier or Archmage.

Tier Four[edit]

Requires Bard Level 4, 20 APs spent on tree

Stormsinger's Inspiration: Your Bardic Inspiration now grants allies a chance to have your Lightning Strike when they make a melee or ranged attack. This seems to have about a 2% proc chance. Also works when cast on self. It scales independently with each player's Electric Spellpower and Caster Level. It does not crit and is not affected by active Metamagic feats.

Ride the Lightning: Your main hand weapon is now considered an Implement. When you critically hit with a Sonic, Cold, or Lightning Spell, you gain +3% Dodge, +3 Reflex saving throws, and your spell point costs are reduced by 3% for 10 seconds.

Horn of Thunder: Spell-Like Ability: Activation cost: [30/25/20] SP. Cooldown: [20/16/12] seconds.

Eye of the Storm: You are no longer negatively affected by Sleet Storm, and while in any Sleet Storm spells, you gain an additional Lightning Strike proc chance.
