Not to be confused with Epic Destiny Feats.

Overview[edit]

Epic feats are special abilities that give your level 20 and higher characters a new capability, or improve those they already have. All characters are granted their choice of Epic (or Standard) feats at level 21, 24, 27, 30, and 33 (& levels 36 & 39 when the cap is raised.)

Note: In accordance with D&D 3.5 edition rules, classes such as fighter or wizard which gain extra feats at certain heroic levels do not gain any additional bonus feats as part of the epic progression.

Free Epic Feats[edit]

Epic characters receive some feats automatically.

Arcane Insight Active Cooldown: 3 minutes

Passive: +110 Maximum Spell Points.

Activate to gain +6 to all spell DCs and +6 to Spell Penetration for 60 seconds. Cooldown: 3 minutes

Burst of Glacial Wrath Active

Passive: Grants 140 spell points.
Active: Deals 30d6 cold damage in a cone, chance to freeze.

Level 24
Embolden Spell Active

While this metamagic feat is active, you gain +2 to the DC of all spells with DCs, but they consume 10 additional spell points (i.e. 20 Spell points becomes 30).

Passive: +140 Maximum Spell Points.

Greater Ruin Active Cost: 150 Spell points

Passive: Grants 140 spell points.
Active: Deals 1000 untyped damage to a single enemy. (No saving throw.)

Intensify Spell Active

While this Metamagic feat is active, you gain 75 Spell Power while casting spells affected by Intensify Spell, but they consume 15 additional spell points.

Passive: +140 Maximum Spell Points.

Level 24, able to cast spells
Ruin Active Cost: 75 Spell points

Deal 500 untyped damage to a single enemy. (No saving throw.)

Cooldown: 15 seconds.

Level 27
Vorpal Strikes Stance

Epic Feat: Your unarmed attacks and Handwraps are treated as vorpal weapons, and are now treated as slashing weapons.
The feat can be toggled off to remove the slashing damage type from your attacks as well as the vorpal strike effect.

Level 21, Monk class level 12 or Sacred Fist class level 12, Wisdom 23, and Improved Critical: Bludgeoning Weapons.
Wellspring of Power Active Cooldown: 3 minutes

Passive: +110 Maximum Spell Points.

Activate to gain +150 Universal Spell Power and +20% Spell Critical Damage for 30 seconds.

When in a defensive stance, you gain an additional +2 to all saving throws and +4 to Armor class.

Combat Archery Passive

Your ranged damage is increased by +1[W]. You gain a 2% Dodge bonus while using a ranged weapon. In addition, while using a Longbow or Shortbow, you gain +1 Critical Multiplier.

Construct Exemplar Passive

Gain +20 Repair Amplification and 10 Magical Resistance Rating.

Defensive Tumble Passive

When you Tumble, for the next 3 seconds you take 20% less damage from all sources (except Bane). In addition, your Tumble charges recharge 0.5 seconds faster, and the bonus to Reflex Saving Throws you receive while actively Tumbling is now also applied to Fortitude and Will Saving Throws while Tumbling.

Eerie Aim Passive

You gain +5% Dodge Bypass, +5% Deflection Bypass, and +10 to Attack.

Epic Barbarian Damage Reduction Passive
  • Your Barbarian Damage Reduction is increased by 1%.
  • You also gain +5 Physical and Magical Resistance Rating

+10 PRR.

Epic Eldritch Blast Passive

+2d8 Eldritch Blast Dice, +1 per 2 Epic or Legendary levels, max +9d8 dice at level 34.

Epic Fortitude Passive

+2 Fortitude Saving Throws. You don't automatically fail Fortitude saving throws on a roll of 1.

Epic Mental Toughness Passive

Increases your maximum spell points by 200. Also, it increases your spell critical chance by 1%.

Epic Reflexes Passive

+2 Reflex Saving Throws. You don't automatically fail Reflex saving throws on a roll of 1.

+5 Bluff, Diplomacy, Haggle, Intimidate, and Perform.

Epic Spell Focus Passive

Epic Spell Focus adds an additional +1 to the DCs of your spells from the chosen school of magic, making them harder to resist. This bonus stacks with the bonus from Spell focus and Greater Spell Focus feat of the same school.

The available choices are:

Level 21, Greater Spell Focus feat of the same spell school and Lv 11 Cleric/Druid/Wizard, or Lv 12 Sorcerer/Favored Soul, or Lv 15 Artificer/Alchemist/Dragon Disciple, or Lv 16 Bard/Warlock
Epic Spell Penetration Passive

Adds +4 to your caster level check for defeating Spell Resistance (in addition to the +4 from the Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration feats).

Epic Toughness Passive

Increases your maximum hit points by 50.

Epic Will Passive

+2 Will Saving Throws. You don't automatically fail Will saving throws on a roll of 1.

Expanded Clip Passive

Gain +33% stacking Doubleshot with Repeating Crossbows.

Great Ability Passive

This epic feat grants a +1 in a selected ability score of Charisma or Constitution or Dexterity or Intelligence or Strength or Wisdom. This feat can be taken multiple times.

The available choices are:

Improved Augment Summoning Passive

Your summoned creatures have +8 to all ability scores, +10% Dodge, and +100 maximum Hit Points. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Note: The HP & boost to ability scores stacks with that from Augment Summoning for a total of +12 to all ability scores

Improved Martial Arts Passive

Epic Feat: You deal +1[W] when fighting with handwraps, and +0.5[W] when using other ki weapons such as kamas, quarterstaves, and shuriken.

+3d6 sneak damage

Inspiration Melody: Excellence Passive

Adds to your Bardic Inspiration: Inspire Excellence.

Inspire Excellence: You can improve the abilities of your comrades through your performance. This song grants a +2 competence bonus to all ability scores.

Inspiring Bond Passive

When your Hirelings or Pets die, after 2.5 seconds they are automatically resurrected and heal to full health. This can occur only once for each creature every 3 minutes. In addition, your Hirelings, Pets, and Summons gain +25 Physical Resistance Rating and Magical Resistance Rating.

Master of Air Passive

Your Shocking Grasp, Electric Loop, and Lightning Bolt spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Alignment Passive

Your Holy Smite, Deific Vengeance, Unholy Blight, Chaos Hammer, and Order's Wrath spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Artifice Passive

Your Static Shock, Lightning Sphere, Blast Rod, and Lightning Motes spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Chaos Passive

Your Chaos Bolt, Chaos Sphere, and Wildstrike spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Earth Passive

Your Acid Spray, Melf's Acid Arrow, and Acid Blast spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Fire Passive

Your Burning Hands, Scorch, and Fireball spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Knowledge Passive

Your Arcane Bolt and Arcane Blast spells now grant you one stack of Mental Honing (+3 Universal Spell Power, +2% Spell Crit Damage) when cast. This effect can stack up to 30 times. One stack is removed every 6 seconds. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Light Passive

Your Sun Bolt, Searing Light, and Divine Punishment spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 Maximum Spell Points.

Master of Music Passive

Your Shout, Greater Shout, Sonic Blast (spell), and Reverberate spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Poisons Passive

Your Wave of Poison and Greater Wave of Poison spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Your Illusory Weaponry, Shadowblade, Fan of Shadowblades, and Ring of Shadowblades spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Your Spellvial and Elemental Obliteration spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Thorns Passive

Your Thorn Strike, Splinterbolt, and Thorn Bloom spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of Water Passive

Your Niac's Cold Ray, Snowball Swarm, and Niac's Biting Cold spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of the Dead Passive

Your Chill Touch, Death Aura, Greater Death Aura, and Negative Energy Burst spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Master of the Wilds Passive

Your Produce Flame, Creeping Cold, Call Lightning, Salt Ray, and Word of Balance spells gain +10 to their maximum caster level. Grants +140 maximum Spell Points.

Overwhelming Critical Passive

When rolling a 19 or 20 on an attack with any weapons used by the character, your critical damage multiplier is increased by +1.

Level 21, Improved Critical: (Bludgeoning or Piercing or Slashing or Ranged or Thrown)
Paranoid Passive

You take 10% less damage from Traps, and you automatically Spot almost all traps as you approach them.

Patience Passive

Your attack speed is reduced by 10%, but you gain +1 critical multiplier with all weapons. Also reduces Crossbow Reload Speed by 10%.

Trick Shot Passive

When you Tumble, you gain 40 Ranged Power for 4 seconds. In addition, your Tumble charges recharge 0.5 seconds faster.

Watchful Eye Passive

If you pass within 5 feet of a trap, you make a search check to notice it as if actively searching. You must be able to Spot the trap to passively Search for it in this way.

(You still need the Trapfinding feat to successfully Search for difficult traps.)
