The Age of Rage is the 4th quest in the Disciples of Rage story arcStory arcs  are chains of quests that make up a story line. Completing everything in a story arc often yields a nice reward..
After the first quest, the next three quests can be completed in any order to unlock Toxic Treatment.

Known Traps

Trap and Lock DCs

• Static Bear Traps with 2 Blade traps (trap Controls panels are after each blade trap), in the first hallway after initial switches are thrown.
  • When using a hireling or companion to open a door, some bugs might appear. Spot for the blades might not work. Satisfy the rage by destroying furniture might not show as an objective and make it not possible to open any further doors.

• Bear traps in the room with Omaro the Mad, and dart traps (no control panel) that activate after you unlock his chest. The darts are avoidable by standing near the chest or at the doorway.
• Dart traps covering puzzle at entrance to end fight, activated by lighting the red/trap puzzle tiles.

Tips and Misc

Entrance

• Find the Unnatural Looking Rock to get the key to open the door, or just pick the lock.
  • Bug: The Unnatural Looking Rock may not be present or getting it visible does not trigger
• Break boxes to expose switch, flip switch
• Kill the Disciples of Rage that activate
• The first shrine, and a chest, are guarded by a half dozen large bears, including one orange named.
• In the central room, you'll have to break almost every last item to "sate your hunger for destruction" before you can move on; have fun!
  • This usually grants ransack bonus too.
• Expect a fight when you re-enter this room.

Omaro's Chambers (northwest off central room)

• Kill Omaro the Mad and get the Octopus Crest.
• The (visible) bear traps are guarded by a dart trap; just jump over/past them if you want, to get the Locked chest and clue.

Abandoned Corridor (northeast off central room)

• Jump and walk on pipes across to lever, flip lever
• Then hop over to your contact, Drelg, and speak to him; this completes an optional, and gives another of the five clues.
• Swim north under the water, get collectible, and jump up for a chest (up in the pipework).

Sleeping Quarters (east off central room)

• One of the north rooms has a potential clue.

Enter the Book room (south off central room)

• Use Octopus Crest to open door.
• Solve the trapped puzzle to drop the barrier.
  • Avoid lighting the red tiles, doing so activates the darts (cannot be disarmed).
  • The white power tile can be rotated, but save it for last, once you're sure you have a safe solution.
• Destroy the Book.
• Kill Quixzobie Kal, the beholder Guardian of the Book. He will summon Hateful Stares and Disciple Eye Horrors in the middle of the fight to assist him.
