Byeshk

Jump to search
Mined in the Byeshk and Graywall Mountains bordering Droaam, this rare metal is prized by smiths for use in jewelry and weapons. It has a lustrous purple sheen and is hard and dense.
Byeshk weapons are able to overcome the damage reduction of Mindflayers and Xorian Renders, as well as the Daelkyr who are responsible for most of the aberrations in Eberron. It also provides added hardness over an equivalent Steel weapon – 7 points higher to be exact, nearly as hard as adamantine, which is 10 points higher.
Monks with the Protection from Tainted Creatures enhancement can bypass byeshk damage reduction with unarmed attacks.
