Objectives
- Find Hermia before the Wild Hunt
- Open a path to Hermia's hiding place
- Entertain the Queen
- Defeat Hermia's illusions
- (Optional) Defeat the Pixie Lieutenant — Bonus (15%): Heroic( ♣236 ♦418 ♥443 ♠468 ) Epic( ♣1,975 ♦3,373 ♥3,454 ♠3,535 )
Known Traps
- The orange flower bushes explode if you move near them, dealing fire damage. As environmental hazards, they cannot be disarmed.
Tips and Misc
- The first part of this quest is fairly straightforward. After this, the quest opens into a long, complicated circuit around several different areas, with teleports between them.
- Follow the open path through the woodland area, fight Happy the redcap, and step into the mushroom circle at the end of the path. This will take you to the Pink Grove.
- A chest appears in the first area at the top of the waterfall. It's locked, and surrounded by exploding flowers.
- From the Pink Grove, take the portal to the Mushroom Forest, go north, and take the portal to the Riverlands. Head north again and use lever 1.
- An optional teleport in a tree trunk in the Mushroom Forest takes you inside a giant tree, where you can fight Buttercup and his Wild Hunt backup for a second chest.
- Bug: There is a chest behind a wall of leaves in this area. Currently, there is no known way to reach it.
- Go back to the Mushroom Forest, head northeast and fight a Dryad. Lever 2 is at the back of her area.
- Back in the Riverlands, go through the east path to the Royal Garden. Walk straight north and use lever 3.
- Teleport to the Riverlands and swim to the south. Fight the orange-named Wood Woad, then use lever 4.
- Return to the Royal Garden and go to the north east room. To use lever 5, you must first "Entertain the Queen" – solve the puzzle on the floor, loot the nearby "chest", and fight the mimic that spawns from it.
- Make sure that no one stands in the puzzle area when it pops up; this might bug it. All the spots should be lit when the puzzle appears; if not, the puzzle may not be completable.
- The goal is to turn off all the spots. Walking over a spot will turn it on or off; it will also toggle the spots linked to it by beams of light.
- One way to solve it is 1) Turn off the two spots closest to the cow. Three will remain on. 2) Turn off the only spot connected to the other two. That will turn off those three.
- A pile of loot appears in place of the mimic when it is slain. This can be interacted with in the same way as a chest, and can even be Feytwisted.
- Back in the Riverlands, head west, and use lever 6.
- Go to the Royal Garden and use lever 7 (go north-east-south.)
- Teleport to the Mushroom Forest and go straight south. Use lever 8.
- Return to the Royal Garden and go east-south. Talk to Beelibul and Bullibee. Then use the southern door to make them hostile. They drop a Silver Key which opens the south door.
- Be careful here – one of the two brothers likes using the spell Grease, and both his compatriot's fiery attacks and the nearby exploding flowers may set the whole room alight!
- Go to the Shady Circle. Use lever 9 here and teleport to the Royal Garden.
- In the south west room you may talk to the Tea Connoisseur. Use the nearby Cup of tea to make him angry, then fight him. Afterwards, use lever 10. The short path to the Shady Circle teleporter is now open.
- There is a Tea-Stained letter tucked away next to a chair and under the table, near the Snoozing Pup. Interacting with it will mention something about talking to the door of Beelibul and Bullibee's home.
- Reading the letter requires a Diplomacy Check (DC ♦21–31Normal ♠54Elite ●♠153Epic Elite). The check appears to be repeatable any number of times.
- Typing /say I haven't the slightest idea! in front of the Bullywug house causes the door to become a waypoint leading to 2 optional treasure chests. The second chest is behind a secret door, up an invisible ramp, then up an invisible ladder.
- At the Shady Circle, use lever 11. Return to the Mushroom Forest.
- The locked door to Hermia is now finally open.
- End fight
- Wave 1 is against a red-named Owlbear and some forest creatures.
- Wave 2 spawns a Displacer Beast and some more trash. To progress, you must also break all the nearby orbs.
- Some orbs can spawn invisible and cannot be targeted with melee attacks. Try using AoE attacks to break them, or logging out and back in without leaving the quest. (DDO Forums)
- Wave 3 is against a second Owlbear and one more wave of animals.
- If a Monster Champion in this fight drops Remnants or a chest, retrieve it before the fight ends. The floor drops out from under you a few seconds after Wave 3 ends, and there's no way back up.
- Once the second Owlbear falls, you drop into the very area in which you started! Hermia is there in person this time, along with your hard-earned end chest.
