Overview
A member of the Twelve wants to get a copy of Vaunt's blueprints and has hired you to break into one of his warehouses to get them. Take the skycoach to Castellan and meet with the warehouse manager there.

Tips and Misc
- Tavern
- Talk to Victor, follow him outside and enter the warehouse.
- The search
- The warehouse is full of boxes and lots of constructs.
- Nightshield/Shield may be helpful in defending off some of the floating construct attacks.
- Iron Golems there require Adamantine weaponry for greater takedown, as usual.
- Break boxes until you find a ledger, then read it.
- Reading the ledger activates a nearby grate/door, high up in the northwest corner of the warehouse.
- The ledger can be found out in the open (often at the top of the ramp that leads to the fourth level of warehouse shelving) or in/under a crate in the warehouse – look for a sparkling crate.
- The puzzle
- Open the grate to some duct work. An air jet/low-gravity pad will activate to send you upward.
- The tile has a cooldown period – if you step on it and nothing happens, step off and wait three seconds before using it again.
- Solve the three wheels puzzle.
- A clue for the right wheel is behind a grating on the right.
- A clue for the left wheel is behind a grating on the left.
- Once left and right wheels are set, just turn the center wheel until the left grate opens. A clue for this wheel can be seen behind a grating high up in the west wall in the large warehouse room as well.
- If you're quick, you get some extra XP.
- The waves
- Head into the office, pull the lever on the west wall.
- Enemies start spawning on the staircase; kill all waves (you can also do this after the basement).
- The Technicians are nasty artificers that liberally throw Tactical Detonation bombs that will stun or knock you down, causing significant damage. Prioritize their demise or you may not survive. They will appear in all fights at the warehouse level from this point.
- The basement
- Enter the basement lab by jumping down the now-open duct shaft on the right side of the wheel puzzle (this grate is opened by the lever in the office).
- More constructs, including Forgewraiths, floating constructs, Iron Golems and some Magewright cannons are throughout.
- If you're quick, kill the Iron Golems before they destroy prototypes for optional XP. Tripping them in some way is effective.
- Destroyed prototypes release a Forgewraith.
- The golems must be destroyed first to get the prototype. (The prototype Victor is using, available at the end of the quest, counts toward the "retrieve more" optional.)
- There's a shrine (and a fight) at the bottom of the stairs by the door upward from the basement laboratory.
- Back up to Victor
- The ramp upward returns to the main warehouse, the office and Victor, with a mix of everything you've encountered, minus golems.
- Again, prioritize Technicians and clear the waves.
- The last wave consists of several Forgewraiths.
- Talk to Victor to conclude the quest.
- You can choose to spare or kill Victor. Neither has any effect on loot or XP reward, but be aware a unique forgewraith will spawn if you choose to kill him.
- Minor bug: If Victor isn't talking, it's possible one or more of the forgewraiths got "lost" in combat. Go back to the office and all the lower rooms and find them (or let them find you) and kill them. Once all are dead, Victor will be heard to cry "All right, don't do anything rash. I'm coming out. Perhaps we can make a deal...", which signals the end of combat, and speaking to him will end the quest and unseal the end chest.
