Tips and Misc

• At the start, you can just drop down rather than running down the spiral ramp.
• The Mudman will appear in the tunnel just north of the entrance.
• A Magic Mouth in the north warns you to watch your step; some vines will help you out if you don't.
• The northern section can be ignored; just break the root wall to the south at the first intersection and follow the passage until you can go east at a junction.
• Once the Dryad's (Salix) challenge starts, a gate goes up to block the entrance; make sure your entire party is inside the arena before you speak with her.
  • WARNING: If you have a hire on active, they can bug the quest by starting the Dryad's challenge before you speak with her (by attacking the inactive cooshees and activating them). If this happens, make sure to speak with her before she becomes active (after the elemental wave).
