Tips and Misc

After entering the club there are two options to enter the Administration Building.

Enter through the 3rd floor

This is the "straight forward" path:

• Go to the kitchen and note the rune combination to be lightened at the puzzle.
  • Any combination is possible, so there are 27 different combinations. The gallery below is incomplete.
• Go to the 3rd floor; fight your way to the puzzle.
• Solve the puzzle to open the door. This also will spawn the shrine nearby.
  • Lightning up any wrong rune triggers a trap while it's still lit up.
• Go down to the 2nd floor, kill Baxter and examine the evidence.

Enter through the garden

You need to convince Chuffy to open the door to the garden. This path has three different approaches:

• Find Chuffy's book entitled Desire in the Dark and return it to him.
  • The book is located near the staircase between 1st and 3rd floor.
• Pass a Bluff check  ♠37–47Elite with Agatha Heachm.
• Pass an Intimidate check  ♠42:FailElite -  ♠59Elite with Roberta Wyckham.

After entering the garden fight your way to the Administration Building and the 2nd floor. Kill Baxter and examine the evidence.

Other notes

The Garden's east wall, has an ivy like plant you can actually climb up (a bit like a concealed ladder). It leads to a Locked Gate higher up the wall and trapped passage, with a chest.

Chuffy is a club officer, too. There are 6 officers in total. You might recognize one of them as Kalphan Riak, the high priest of Kol Korran.

Finding the evidence in the Administration Building completes the quest. It's technically possible to do this with zero kills.

Golden Mote Sub-quest

During Symphony of the Fey, one of the Golden Motes of Music was located in this quest, accessed via a hidden door. To reach the Mote, the following series of instructions must be completed:

• The Door that sends you into a sub-quest was hidden behind a semi-transparent illusionary wall, North of the T-junction leading to The Duke's room (prior to Update 76 this had always been a solid wall.)
• This Golden Mote had been claimed by a group of Feywild dancers lead by a Nymph. The Nymph demanded that you perform a dance for her before she would consider granting you access to the mote. This dance took the form of a minigame similar to the one in Order in the Court! (using the /dance and /dance2 emotes on red and yellow tiles respectively.) Getting a step wrong would anger the Nymph, leading to two nearby Satyrs and a Pixie attacking you.
• Once three moves had been executed successfully, a flock of Shadow Wing Harpies lead by Sky Screech burst into the ballroom! After you dispatched them, the Nymph agreed to allow you to claim the Mote.
