Overview

You've received a mysterious invitation to a housewarming by an unknown patron. Open the Housewarming Invitation in your inventory to see where to go.

If you need another invitation, get one from Durk the Deranged in the enclave of The Twelve.

  • To access the quest once you've received it, "open" the Housewarming Invitation that you got from Durk (find it in your inventory and double-click it.) Durk is located in the enclave of The Twelve, near the airship tower, and will give you a new invitation whenever you restart the quest (if you already have the quest, he has a dialogue option to obtain a new one.)

Spoiler Warning: Spoiler material below this point!

What to Expect

Spawning/Respawning monsters

Known Traps

All traps in the quest are fixed and not disarmable.

  • Rolling boulders
    • The boulders appear to be coded as monsters rather than traps – they have some primitive "homing" AI, and aggressive hirelings will run towards them and try to attack them. On the plus side, this means that the hirelings will get the 6 second knockdown, not you.
    • Some of them are one shots, other are recurring.
  • Pressure plates activating fire jets

Tips and Misc

  • There are many Stone Golems in this quest, which have Damage Reduction 5–20/Adamantine. You may want to be familiar with their (many) strengths and (few) weaknesses, as they are a Construct type.
  • The gargoyles in the central room don't activate if you stick to the paths.
  • To kill the optional gargoyle Basalt, jump off the eastern wall of the central platform. There is a winding path along the wall to get back on the platform.
  • Collect three crests: one in each northern wing and one in the southern. Place the crests into slots in the central room.
  • In the north-west wing, the "Wing of Reflection", are many red pressure plates which trigger ambushes or fire jets.
    • The Gargoyles in the secret room are respawning; this can be exploited for conquest bonus.
      • To speed this up, go inside the secret room. After all of the gargoyles' corpses have disappeared, pull the lever on the wall to open the door, which triggers their respawn. Repeat.
    • In the final rooms, there are also several golden/bronze-colored pressure plates, which open nearby secret doors or hidden mirrors (not shown on map) which can be used to trick the medusas into killing themselves.
    • Near the base of the southern stairs, against the bars, is one that opens the secret door on the other side of the bars.
  • Continue east and defeat 3 Avatars of Orlassk to complete the quest.

Bonus XP

  • Aggression bonus: 33 or more monsters killed +10% Bonus.( ♣326 ♦564 ♥585 ♠605 )
  • Onslaught bonus: 67 or more monsters killed +15% Bonus.( ♣489 ♦847 ♥877 ♠908 )
