Tips and Misc

• At the start of the quest, don't forget to talk to Dame Alonsa, as you'll need her to be active to finish the quest.
  • As in her previous appearance, although Dame Alonsa is technically an escort NPC, she's no Coyle Lovell – she can put up a decent fight against non-boss mobs, doesn't fail the quest if she gets knocked out, and doesn't even need to be with you when you finish the quest. She will make stealth a bit tricky, though.

• Head north at the first intersection, kill Ul'grym the Mire Caller, and take the Crest of the Bat from his treasure pile.
  • Climbing the little hill in the north end of the cavern sometimes breaks Ul'grym's pathing, causing him to get stuck at the bottom and leaving him unable to attack you. This makes the fight trivial for any character with ranged weaponry.

• Proceed along the tunnels to the marsh area. The door to your south is sealed with two crest slots – ignore it for now and go east.
• Most of the cavern at the end of this tunnel is optional – the Monkey crest is on a ledge above where you came in.
  • The Unicorn Arael'Daoine is on the other side of the cavern, and can be reached by jumping along some pillars. If any party member reaches her side, she rewards you with a chest and an optional, and a dimension door opens on both sides so other party members can reach the chest.

• Head back out to the sealed door and go inside the Hunter's Lodge. There's a shrine here if you need one.
• The chest in the southernmost room of the lodge is an illusion – attempting to loot it spawns several pixies and drops you into boiling mud. As a clue, it looks like an Epic Chest, even though you're either in a Heroic or Legendary quest. Dame Alonsa, if she is still with you, tends to get stuck in this pit, depriving you of a valuable ally, so try to avoid it.
• From here the path to the end of the quest is pretty simple – you'll need to fight your way through two more bosses, namely the displacer beast Aral'Aul'Nevae and the Wild Hunt Hound Pyrefang. Pyrefang can be kited fairly easily by running up and down the stairs.
