Hall of Heroes

From DDO wiki
(Redirected from Halls of Heroes)

The Hall of Heroes is a place between, an ageless monument to heroes past and present. No one is certain whether its enchanted halls were built by the Giants, or whether it is older still.

Description[edit]

The Halls of Heroes are two separate public areas added in Update 19, for player convenience. They allow characters with a Hall of Heroes Passport to travel between the Forgotten Realms and Eberron from the character selection screen, as well as providing access to basic amenities to all characters.
The Halls of Heroes are huge halls featuring large statues of heroes. The statues vary between Eberron and the Forgotten Realms. Exactly which heroes are featured is unclear, because the placards on the statues are not clickable, thus don't say the names: Some heroes could be from the 1989 PnP AD&D module FR7 Hall of Heroes (TSR 9252); At least one is an Eberron based hireling (Byron Scoutsword).
Everyone can enter the Halls of Heroes, but only those with the Hall of Heroes Passport feature (free to VIPs, 795 DP on the DDO Store) can use them to travel between realms.
