DDO Point icon.png Requires access to adventure pack: Secrets of the Artificers

This vast complex houses House Cannith's countless offices, warehouses, laboratories and workshops.

This special adventure zone is accessed through House Cannith Enclave. Unlike most adventure zones, this one supports both parties and raid groups, and will scale the monsters heavily to accommodate larger groups.

This is a level 19 Wilderness Adventure Area, allowing characters from levels 15 to 24 to get full experience.

Note: This is a raid-enabled wilderness, however summoning a hireling in party will prevent you from switching to raid mode to enable taking more than 6 players!

Note that Wrack has a fourth location, not shown on the map, due south of Bulat's room, near the entrance to the shrines.

Note that the door to Toven's Second Letter (JOURNAL) is LOCKED (DC 30) but not noted as such on the map.

  • Find Aarren d'Cannith's First Memoir Page
    • My family's expedition teams have long hauled artifacts from Stormreach. I practically grew up here. After all these years, it's my turn to unlock the secrets of these ruins, and prove my theories. Our House has harnessed the power of magic itself, but Xen'drik is the key to a new era - not just for Cannith, for everyone.
  • Find Aarren d'Cannith's Second Memoir Page
    • It's been no small feat to recover the artifacts from the Stormreach ruins. First we paid off that odious Pirate Lord, Amanatu. Then we chased off some hostile Drow natives. Today, we had to disable the constructs we found. I thought we could animate them to learn more about the purpose of the ruins. But they appear driven only to attack us. We've secured the constructs until I deduce how to reconfigure them.
  • Find Aarren d'Cannith's Third Memoir Page
    • An age of wonder awaits us, and the key to unleashing it was buried under our noses! I've labored for weeks now to reveal the secrets of this confounded thing - this "forge." The answer finally came to me as I slept. It's funny how so many inventions in the world are born of dreams. In hindsight it's natural. Growing up around these ruins has practically branded the markings in my subconscious. We must be careful now to protect my discovery... if need be, with our lives.
  • Find Aarren d'Cannith's Fourth Memoir Page
    • My father's work scratched only the surface of what the forge device is capable of. We may never know how it was meant to be used, but now I understand how to manipulate it. This discovery will advance our whole society! I've requested more resources to help protect the site from the natives - drow, pirate, adventurer, or otherwise.
  • Find Toven d'Cannith's First Letter
    • From: Toven d'Cannith
      To: Baron Merrix d'Cannith

My Lord, I am honored to accept the appointment as Manufactury Administrator. Our future here in Stormreach is bright indeed. With House Cannith's craft and skill we will transform this minor outpost into a shining beacon of progress. And don't worry about the Manufactury's little secret - I will keep it safe from prying eyes.
  • Find Toven d'Cannith's Second Letter
    • From: Toven d'Cannith
      To: Baron Merrix d'Cannith

Now that the war is finally over, I was thinking that perhaps House Cannith will finally be able to help the warforged. You know my feelings on the matter, my Lord - much needs to be undone before the warforged will find their rightful place in this new, more peaceful age. I look forward to discussing the matter with you as we take on the task of rebuilding our House, our nations, and indeed our entire world.
  • Find Toven d'Cannith's Third Letter
    • From: Toven d'Cannith
      To: Channa d'Cannith

Channa, please allow me to welcome you to Stormreach. It is an honor to receive one of Merrix d'Cannith's prized pupils here in our little frontier outpost. No doubt primitive Xen'drik comes as quite a change from the great city of Sharn, but I am sure that you'll find our research in the Manufactury's restricted site most fascinating from a professional perspective.
  • Find Toven d'Cannith's Fourth Letter
    • From: Toven d'Cannith
      To: Coin Lord Yorrik Amanatu

While I understand that the arrival of large numbers of warforged in stormreach has caused 'frictions,' as you put it, I must point out that the entire world has been in turmoil since the end of the Last War. It is unfair for you and the other Coin Lords to single out the warforged. They are living creatures like the rest of us, and they deserve better than what we have been able to offer them thus far.
  • Find Lord of Blades' Orders to the Bladesworn Glaive
    • Orders to the Bladesworn Glaive: Send word immediately should anyone try to enter. Our earlier intelligence was accurate, House Cannith indeed kept and intact creation forge for themselves. Do good work, and help lay the path to a just and true future.
  • Find Lord of Blades' Orders to the Gatewatches
    • Orders to the Gatewatches: Our soldiers have done good work, my brother. Chasing Cannith from their tower was easy. Now ensure that no one gets in. As you stand watch, see how they treat our warforged. To them we are little more than tools to be used for manual labor without thought or intelligence. No further proof is needed when we demand freedom. You know what must be done to the oppressors.
  • Find Lord of Blades' Orders to the Watch
    • Orders to the Watch: The stray brother who allowed himself to be foolishly captured by House Cannith will soon be 'put to good use' in the only way they ever use us: as minor machines to prop up their crumbling empire. You need not sacrifice yourself to pay penance for this one's folly. The storm descending on our captors will make this incident but a speck of dust in the Mournlands.
  • Find Lord of Blades' Orders to the Bladesworn Cutlass
    • Orders to Bladesworn Cutlass: House Cannith's arrogance in believing they could keep their secret to themselves will give birth to our revolution. Every day we uncover more power contained within the creation forge, and we will soon use the device to create more warforged. Your orders are to stay, watch, and destroy any outsiders who attempt to enter. Our bodies are steadfast, our arms are set. Watch as our hands shake the earth, and our fists crush weak flesh.
