The Collaborator

The Collaborator is the 4th quest in The Salvation of Korthos story arcStory arcs are chains of quests that make up a story line. Completing everything in a story arc often yields a nice reward..
The first three quests can be completed in any order to unlock The Collaborator.

Overview

Sigmund Bauerson believes someone working with the sahuagin will be ransacking the Wavecrest Tavern tonight. He wants you to stop this, and kill the collaborator.

Wait for the collaborator to arrive.
Confront the collaborator.
Protect the Wavecrest Tavern.
Do not leave until the collaborator is dealt with.
Search the cellar for Jacoby.
Find the hidden passage.
Find Jacoby Drexelhand.
Defeat Jacoby Drexelhand.
(Optional) Defeat Kiv Nerl. — Bonus (25%): Heroic( ♣105 ♦175 ♥190 ♠205 )

What to Expect

No respawning monsters.

Tips and Misc

This adventure is of average difficulty.
Inside the Wavecrest cellar; click on the Disguised Lever, hidden in a barrel cask to open the wall in the basement. Alternatively, you can Search and open it manually.
To get Onslaught bonus, you must kill the two sahuagin that spawn next to Jacoby before you kill him.
Unlike most bosses, Jacoby Drexelhand has 100% fortification and can be tough to take down without spell damage.
Kiv Nerl will spawn after slaying Jacoby Drexelhand. You do not need to kill him, but his chest will remain locked until you do.
After completing this quest, Sigmund's daughter, Merla Bauerdatter, will ask you to give a bottle of Vintage Old Sully's Grog to Bertram Sharpwood at the docks; in return for the bottle (which must be purchased at the DDO store for 5 DP), Bertram will give you a Starter Siberys Spirit Cake. This is a one-time reward.
