- Usage: Passive
- Prerequisite: Monk, class level 1 or Dragon Disciple, class level 1, Dexterity 13
Description
Once every few seconds, you are able to block some projectiles that would otherwise hit you.
Notes
- Former tooltip versions explicitly stated "one projectile per 6 seconds".
- Monks do not need to be centered to benefit from this feat and can deflect arrows that hit them from the rear.
- Projectiles that miss do not count towards the 1 deflected projectile per 6 seconds quota.
- This ability is granted or mimicked by several enhancements or effects:
- Swashbuckler tier 2 ability
- Vanguard tier 2 ability while equipping a shield
- Can be improved to 6/4/2 seconds with Missile Shield.
- Vistani 2nd core ability
- Tempest 4th core ability when dual wielding
- Can be improved to 4/3/2 seconds with Improved Defense
- Wizard Eldritch Knight 4th core ability or Sorcerer Eldritch Knight 4th core ability
- Grandmaster of Flowers tier 2 ability
- Tabaxi tier 2 ability
- Tabaxi Trailblazer tier 2 ability
- Sacred Fist tier 4 ability
- The Stormrage spell grants Deflect Arrows for 18 seconds.
- Dragon Disciples may select this feat as one of their dragon arts feats.
- Monks may select this feat as one of their martial arts feats.
