Against Oozes, this weapon's effective enhancement bonus is +1 better than its normal enhancement bonus. It deals an extra 1 to 6 points of damage against the foe., plus a slot for an additional augment. Because it is made of "glass", rather than metal or wood, it is unaffected by the acid attacks of oozes and the effects of Rust Monsters that cause item damage (handwraps and Muck's Doom also work well). Make sure to open *both* doors to the back area, as each valve has a chance to spawn Muck.
