Dazed
A dazed creature cannot take any action for a short duration. Exact duration depends on the spell/effect used. It may be cured by the spells Heal or Panacea.
Unlike the stunned condition, this condition does not render the target helpless.
Creatures with evasion can still evade while dazed.
Many daze effects are removed when the dazed creature takes damage.
Spells or spell-like abilities which inflict this condition, and lose it when the creature takes damage:
- Electric Loop
- Flash Bang
- Lightning Sphere
- Sonic Blast
- Static Shock
- Disable Construct (constructs only)
Spells which inflict this condition, but maintain it for a full duration regardless of damage (the in-game description of these generally say they "stun" the target, but that's somewhat incorrect as they do not render targets helpless like most stuns):
- Soundburst - should grant helplessness with Update 21
- Greater Shout
- Symbol of Stunning
Items which inflict this condition:
- Altar of Insanity item with Solipsism
- Guardbreaking items
- Glass Jaw Strike of Level 12+ Brawling Gloves
- Watcher's Blade hidden effect on critical hits
- Runestone flash version
Melee attacks which inflict this condition:
- Sap melee attack feat
