Ataraxia's Haven
Overview[edit]
Ataraxia's Haven is a level 10 Wilderness Adventure Area that can be accessed by talking to Nadine Shipton found at The Harbor, Mevrin Undertow at House Kundarak Enclave, or Evi Joss at House Deneith Enclave.
You can ask Marl Murkdelver to send you back to either the Harbor, or Kundarak. You cannot return to Deneith directly from Ataraxia's Haven unless it is the last public zone you visited (so a recall will take you there).
Characters need to be at least level 7 to gain access.
It allows level 7 to 14 characters full XP reward points for the Rare Encounters, Slayer and Explorer quests.
It has a Tavern, the Resort Spa, that has a Spirit Binder, Banker and Mail, a Pawnshop (always Vendor with Reputation Quest rate, not full Broker rate), a General Vendor and a Barkeep.
Quests[edit]
In addition to the Rare Encounter / Slayer / Explorer missions typical to all Wilderness Adventure Areas, the following quests can be found in this zone:
- Sykros' Jewel
- Bestowed by Sykros, located within the zone
- Reclamation
- Bestowed by Leros Levithas, located within the zone
Rare Encounters[edit]
Each Rare Encounter is worth 650 XP; the bonus for finding all of them is 3,250 XP. Re-encounters will give 216 XP. There are total of 10 rare encounters.
- Slay Schenker, scorpion king (Note: He can be a bit more to the east, down on the beach)
- Slay Kithba, razor cat pack leader (Note: Kithba can also appear on the beach near the shrine isle)
- Slay Goregra, wild hyena pack leader (Note: Goregra can also appear on the hill just behind the entrance to the wildman cave, or on small cliff to the west from the wildman cave)
- Slay Dulk, scrag troll chieftain
- Slay Bestore, aboriginal rust monster
- Slay Bororo Orehelm, duergar supervisor
- Slay Hellgut, bloodthirsty darkfang spider
- Slay Mirot, enraged wildman
- Speak with Arboth, the crazy kobold
- Slay Dranem Otoh, duergar sharpshooter

- Slay 10 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 445 XP = 44.5 xp/kill
- Slay 25 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 606 XP = 40.4 xp/kill
- Slay 50 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 835 XP = 33.4 xp/kill
- Slay 100 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 1,267 XP = 25.34 xp/kill
- Slay 200 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 2,080 XP = 20.8 xp/kill
- Slay 400 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 3,700 XP = 18.5 xp/kill
- Slay 750 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 6,020 XP = 17.2 xp/kill
- Slay 1,500 creatures in Ataraxia's Haven: 12,912 XP = 17.22 xp/kill

Each Explorer is worth 325 XP; the bonus for finding all of them is 1,300 XP.
