Docent

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Docents are items that only Warforged and Bladeforged characters and Artificer dogs can wear. They take the armor slot on the character and act like clothing. Different docents will alter the cosmetic appearance of the character.

As of Update 14, docents come in a variety of grades (like armor, with absolute minimum levels) may be enchanted to provide an Enhancement bonus to Armor Class. In addition, they can provide other enchantments, such as Hammerblock or Spell resistance.

Certain Warforged-only feats change the armour bonus received from a docent:

  • Mithral Body - Docents you equip provide a base armor bonus equivalent to Chainmail. This is treated as metallic light armor.
  • Adamantine Body - Docents you equip provide a base armor bonus equivalent to Full Plate. This is treated as metallic heavy armor.
