Missing in Saltire![edit]

STORMREACH CHRONICLE SPECIAL EDITION: MISSING IN SALTIRE!

ALSO: MAKING MAGICAL ITEMS FOR A BETTER TOMORROW; SHIFTING MOONS CAUSING SPELLCASTING CHANGES?

SALTIRE RESIDENTS FRIGHTENED AS MORE GO MISSING![edit]

Protests join the cries of grieving families as some residents in Stormreach's Saltire District wonder if the Coin Lords care enough to investigate missing persons! While this reporter never hesitates to stand up to those in power, others are looking at the growing number of missing in Saltire and opting to avoid explaining the truth. Our faithful readers have nothing to fear, however, as our own investigative reporters are on the scene. We ask the hard-hitting questions few dare to answer!

The Saltire District, a once-peaceful neighborhood located between the Harbor and the Marketplace, has been shaken to its core by the rise in missing persons cases. This frightening ordeal has sent our finest reporters to the scene -- the scene of truth-seeking! Actually, our reporters seem to be doing more of their fact-finding outside of now-scary Saltire; it's hard to report when you're dead!

The Chronicle is starting a new effort to turn our readers into reporters! See Tesser Aster (located east of the Wayward Lobster) to find out how you too can become part of the ever-growing field of Volunteer Journalism! The Chronicle is offering a free one-month subscription to the immediate family of any brave adventurers who encounter any unforeseen misfortune while working for our fine publication.

CRAFTING BRINGS RECYCLING TO STORMREACH![edit]

Stormreach has long been a source of magical abundance; sadly, this abundance has taken its toll on our once-pristine waterways. Too many overloaded tavernkeepers and vendors have taken to dumping their stock into pools and streams, leading one nearby lake to be given the dubious designation of "Lake Ghost Touch Shield of Deception!" But times are changing in Stormreach -- to everyone's benefit!

The always-environmentally-minded Twelve are beginning to unlock further secrets from the Eldritch Devices they have been studying. Now, the Twelve are launching a new effort to recycle partially-unwanted items in a way that preserves our heritage for generations to come while giving adventurers a great opportunity to craft their own loot!

New crafting devices have been set up to help adventurers start to create the items they need. Visit the Crafting Hall in House Kundarak to get started! Remember to think of the children; craft their destiny while forging your own!

SHIFTING MOONS BRINGING BOON TO SPELLCASTERS![edit]

The Chronicle's top scientists are reporting that Eberron's shifting moons may be the cause of dramatic improvements to spellcasting throughout Xen'drik! Wizards, Sorcerers, Clerics and other spellcasting-types are reporting that it has become easier than ever to work their magic! One wizard was recently heard exclaiming, "I can cast two spells for the price of one, amazing!" Others are discovering new spells to kill those monsters that make our lives difficult. Meanwhile, this reporter continues to seek a competent user of magic to craft the ultimate spell: Create Bacon! Interested parties should bring bacon (preferably crispy bacon) to the Stormreach Chronicle offices.
