Re: Recent edit changing formatting of Objectives - this comes off with bad formatting how it's currently written, with the old style breaking things up by phase being much easier to read. Worth considering a revert and a smaller edit to fix the negative hamp instead of a major formatting change?

- I'm not going to switch back to the obj_ format since that would mean switching back to a deprecated template parameter, which is bad editing practice. I've instead fudged the HTML a bit to add "phase" notifiers like the original list had - does that work as a compromise? ⇒ PurpleSerpent (Contribs • Message • Email) 22:36, June 25, 2023 (EDT)

that way the Phase will be aligned left and the bullets still indented per phase. Each phase is a separate step.

- For example, "Phase One:" is not "Speak with Arraetrikos" like you actually have it now, it's meant to be for introducing: "Use the Portal of the Waning Moons".

- I've tried to do it this way so it's clear that "Phase One" and so on aren't themselves official objectives. Having them in the bulleted list might muddy the issue and I can't add them manually between lines because the template doesn't work that way. I don't think I'm misuing

- The single list item starting "Use the Portal..." is 'Phase One:' according to how you've associated with previous List item (LI). A line break

- For example, you've actually written: "Use the Portal of the Waning Moons Phase One:"
- If you had moved the "Phase One:" to a new line it wouldn't have a bullet point nor be a single 'list item'. I was just highlighting that you had written something other than what you probably thought you had done, etc. I will also agree the Wiki software has issues and limitations. You've just used a kludge. ;-)

- Indeed! The format of the template doesn't allow multi-line entries for objective parameters, as I discovered, so I fudged things slightly to get it to look like it does when the page displays. ⇒ PurpleSerpent (Contribs • Message • Email) 07:31, June 28, 2023 (EDT)
