Is there someone who can mention the Enhancements Alpha on the main page?

We generally don't put things on front page while they are in Lamannia Yawgmoth ( IRCMessage ) 18:40, April 11, 2013 (EDT)
I understand. But then, the "What's New" mentions a second expansion, and the level cap raise to 28, neither of which are even on Lamannia yet.

Considering that this is one of the gravest and most anticipated changes since U14 (even before that), it's worth thinking about giving a broad audience the chance to look at the new enhancement system, and most importantly, give them the option to participate on the surveys before they are closed.

User has a point, I'll try to figure out a way to include it on there once I've had some coffee and am awake.

In the meantime, can we stop putting the Lammania enhancement info on the Live enhancement pages? It really shouldn't be there.

I do see the merit of putting Lama stuff on live pages in this particular case. This allows readers to use the existing EnhancementsTOC template to access all stuff without creating tons of new pages. This will also allow easy migration when this stuff hits live.

I have to agree with Cru121 it would make it easy for players to find the info and easy to swap over once it is live not to mention people are feverishly looking for this information. It took quite a while for the wiki to get epic destinies easily accessable and it bothered quite a few people. at least thats my 2 cp.

I think that it's not a bad idea to have the alpha versions and the live versions separated for now. There are several reasons: 1. It's not completely clear that the Lamannia template only applies to what is following after this. This might be confusing for new players. 2. I don't think that it's a good idea to mix life and lamannia info. 3. As the enhancements are an alpha, and probably subject to change, and we need to adjust our templates, and get pictures, I think that having the alpha version on separate pages has the benefit that these pages do not need to be completely finished. When the time has come, we can overwrite the current enhancement pages with the lamannia ones, which will probably be easier than deleting certain sections of the existing pages. TL;DR: Keep them separated. It's cleaner.

Edit: There is a fourth reason, since there are separate pages for the trees: There are trees which do not correspond to an existing or planned PrE (Protector Domain tree), and there are trees which correspond to two existing PrEs, namely Spellsinger and Virtuoso, which are going to be merged, just like the KotC and HotD PrEs.

Providing easy and early access to the info for the enhancements alpha, should be a priority. This hub page should have a link on the main page. That way people can use this info for forums debates to help improve the system as a whole, instead of rumor-mongering. Hopefully we can get the info up on the wiki quickly because as someone pointed out it took way too long for EDs, which some are still missing images to this day.
