Hats[edit]

Can be created using Euphonia's Hat Box. Characters created prior to February 22, 2011 received a voucher for a free cap; the type depended upon several variables, including how long the character (NOT the account) has been active and being a VIP. All bartered hats are Bound to Character. Hats purchased from the DDO Store are Bound to Account (and remain Bound to Account when upgraded).

  • Swabby's Kerchief - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [500 Copper Doubloons]
    • This Bandana makes you want to go ARRRGH. Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 10%.
  • Freebooter's Bandana - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [1000 Copper Doubloons]
    • You're no mere swabby. Yarr! Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 15%.
  • Corsair's Skullcap - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [1500 Copper, 750 Silver Doubloons]
    • The skull shows everyone that you're not the one to be messed with. Arr! Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 20%.
  • Captain's Chapeau - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [2000 Copper, 1000 Silver Doubloons]
    • You've certainly earned the feather in your cap. Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 25%.
  • Admiral's Tricorne - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [2500 Copper, 1250 Silver, 625 Gold Doubloons]
    • Anyone who said that the size of your hat doesn't matter must be wearing a bandana. Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 30%.
  • Dread Admiral's Tricorne - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [3000 Copper, 1500 Silver, 750 Gold Doubloons]
    • This hat grants over 9000 skull factor. Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 35%.
  • The Admiral of Bling - Hat: Upgradeable, Bound to Character [Obtained only through turning in a PAX East Swag Bag Voucher]
    • Flashy, ostentatious, AND completely over the top. This pirate hat is too powerful to accept dyes, so don't even try. Wearing it will increase your chance to get Doubloons by 35%.

Note: A Swabby's Kerchief with all the Scallywag's Luck upgrades below will be functionally identical to the Dread Admiral's Tricorne but will only cost 2000 Copper, 750 Silver, 375 Gold Doubloons. The only difference is cosmetic. Since the Doubloons are relatively easy to come by, pick the one you think looks the best.

Hat Upgrades[edit]

You can choose one line from each section (Kobold buffs, Adventuring, and Skills), plus Scallawag's Luck (Default is based on the type of hat)

Eternal Flasks[edit]

Bottomless Flask of Rum[edit]

This enchanted flask swells with an eternal wellspring of rum.

Notes:

  • Though they are not exclusive, all eternal flasks share the same eternal flask timer and having more than one does not accomplish much.
  • The Tier 11 "Heal" effect only restores HP and does not currently provide the other benefits of Heal like removing status effects.
  • Seems to break invisibility when used.
  • The costs are cumulative. The upgrade recipe for each tier (except the first) requires the bottle at the previous tier. You cannot create tier 11 directly.

Swashbuckler (Buckler)[edit]

An indispensable tool for many a pirate when dueling with a single blade. It can parry an enemy's blows effectively and even leave them open to counterattack.

Note Update 12 corrected it to being a Buckler instead of a Small Shield with stats of a Large Shield, so it now has 5% ASF (instead of 15% ASF) and no Armor Check Penalty (instead of -1 ACP).
Note Update 14 then changed Bucklers to have 0% ASF.
