Vampirism

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Vampirism and Lesser Vampirism do not work on Bows and Throwing Weapons (including Shurikens). Also, an off-hand weapon with vampirism/lesser vampirism will not grant the vampirism effect if the player is holding a thrower weapon on his main-hand.

Vampirism is available as extra effect from the new Essence Crafting. This version of Vampirism does work on ranged weapons (including Shurikens etc) but has an internal cooldown of 2-3 seconds, i.e. it does not proc on each hit. Other versions of Vampirism do not share this limitation.

Lesser Vampirism

Effect: This weapon drains a tiny portion of the target's life force whenever it does damage.

Found on: (7) Lesser Vampirism items:

Notes:

  • A weapon with the Lesser Vampirism suffix provides 1 hit point of positive energy-typed healing every time you damage an enemy (regardless of if the target is alive or not / you need to do at least 1 point of base damage for the effect to proc). It appears as 1 hit point repair on Warforged. This scales with healing amplification.
  • Also found on: Non-ranged Essence Crafted weapons suffix

Vampirism

Effect: This weapon drains a tiny portion of the target's life force whenever it does damage.

Found on: (7) Vampirism items:

Notes:

  • A weapon with the Vampirism suffix provides 1 to 3 hitpoints of positive energy-typed healing every time you damage an enemy. For a Warforged, this weapon suffix provides 1 to 3 repair energy for healing instead of positive energy. This scales with healing amplification.
  • Also found on:

Vampirism 2

Effect: This weapon drains a tiny portion of the target's life force whenever it does damage.

Found on: (42) Vampirism 2 items:

Notes: A weapon with the Vampirism 2 suffix provides 2 to 4 hitpoints of positive energy-typed healing every time you damage an enemy. For a Warforged, this weapon suffix provides 2 to 4 repair energy for healing instead of positive energy. This scales with healing amplification.

Vampirism 3

Effect: This weapon drains a tiny portion of the target's life force whenever it does damage.

Found on: (18) Vampirism 3 items:

Notes: A weapon with the Vampirism suffix provides 3 to 6 hitpoints of positive energy-typed healing every time you damage an enemy. For a Warforged, this weapon suffix provides 3 to 6 repair energy for healing instead of positive energy. This scales with healing amplification.
