Vampirism
Vampirism and Lesser Vampirism do not work on Bows and Throwing Weapons (including Shurikens). Also, an off-hand weapon with vampirism/lesser vampirism will not grant the vampirism effect if the player is holding a thrower weapon on his main-hand.
Vampirism is available as extra effect from the new Cannith Crafting. This version of Vampirism does work on ranged weapons (including Shurikens etc) but has an internal cooldown of 2-3 seconds, i.e. it does not proc on each hit. Other versions of Vampirism do not share this limitation.
Lesser Vampirism
Effect: This weapon drains a tiny portion of the target's life force whenever it does damage.
Found on: (8) Lesser Vampirism items:
Note: A weapon with the Lesser Vampirism suffix provides 1 hit point of positive energy-typed healing every time you damage an enemy (regardless of if the target is alive or not / you need to do at least 1 point of base damage for the effect to proc). It appears as 1 hit point repair on Warforged. This scales with healing amplification.
