Faltout (Contribs • Message)

Having edited for 11.8 year(s) and accumulating almost 1k edits with no significant gaps in the last year, I think Faltout would make a great administrator should he choose to accept the nomination. User has also shown exceptional technical knowledge and probably would benefit from the right to modify admin-protected pages. Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 00:44, April 2, 2018 (EDT)

  • Oppose User has only edited consistently for the last 4 month(s), has gaps of more than a month and multiple gaps of more than 3 weeks in the last year (and no edits from April-August of 2017) which disqualifies them per DDO:Administrators. While they're on the right track, I still think it's too soon and we have no shortage of administrators.  👟 ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message) 👟 03:59, April 3, 2018 (EDT)

Second attempt

After 3 months, I would like to suggest Faltout for promotion again, at least probational. We don't have too many active admins these days. -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 00:35, June 28, 2018 (EDT)

  • Oppose A user who had to be blocked for disruption just last month who is threatening to cause mass disruption again if he doesn't get his way does not a good administrator make.  👟 ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message) 👟 01:23, June 28, 2018 (EDT)
    • While I don't have an opinion on my possible promotion/demotion/ban/whatever, I never caused disruption. This block was totally unwarranted and not based on any blocking policy or editing guideline. I did everything by the book. And applying changes that nobody had commented on for a month is again not disruption, it's getting things done. And something needs to be done if the wiki is to stop being referenced as "an outdated source with conficting info". Faltout (ContribsMessage) 01:46, June 28, 2018 (EDT)

Third attempt

If Faltout is still interested, I am sure he'd be an excellent admin. -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 16:25, June 1, 2021 (EDT)

  • Sure Faltout (ContribsMessage) 02:12, June 2, 2021 (EDT)
  • oppose at this time. We really don't need more than three new admins at any given time and I've supported the other three for now as I think they're better for the wiki.  👟 ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message) 👟 14:09, June 3, 2021 (EDT)
