Vargouille sub-race
Vargouilles are Bat race monsters. Unlike most Bats, they are Undead type.
Description[edit]
One of the stranger creatures an adventurer may encounter, a vargouille was once a human affected by a magical curse that caused their head to sprout bat wings and detach from their neck. Although individually weak, vargouilles still pose a threat as this curse can be spread by bite. (Fortunately, this part of their description has not been carried over to DDO.)
