Welcome![edit]

May I extend my warmest welcomes and offer you any help you may need? Thanks for your contributions, mate!

...First, you may want to check out our FAQ page.
...There's a wealth of wiki documentation on the Help page, perhaps some of it may be of use to you.
...Before you upload your screenshots, which we really appreciate, please read our file naming policy.
...With the wiki's most recent update from version 1.17 to 1.19, we now have a section of buttons on the bottom of every edit page that should streamline and make template usage SOOO much easier... For some details about this, please see the help page for these buttons.
...There's a really good Introduction over on Wikipedia also, it should help you figure out what's going on if your new to wikis in general.
...Don't forget to change your DDO wiki user preferences.
...We pride ourselves on providing the best and most accurate information possible and are happy to reward our editors with extra privileges for making that happen. The first step in the promotion ladder turns off the CAPTCHA edit tests and you can check out the details Here.

If you need help with something above and beyond what the links above can provide...

...Someone is most always available! You can drop me a message on my user talk page (which I watch like a hawk), grab my other contact info on my user page, or ask one of the other 18 system operators .

Again, welcome to the wiki - and I can't thank you enough on behalf of the community for your help in making us the best DDO site around Cool Face

Crest[edit]

Since the page for Crest of the Scorpion was your first edit here and we don't know you well yet (so we don't know whether you're new to wiki editing), I'd like to clarify a couple of edits we made to that same page that may disorient you if you are a wikibeginner (I know I took a while to get this kind of sequence right).

  • You created Crest of the Scopion (page 1) in the Main namespace
  • JJMC89 (Contribs • Message) moved it to the Item namespace, where all items belong; that implied:
    • The wiki automatically created Item:Crest of the Scopion (page 2) and copied the contents of your old page (page 1) to page 2
    • The wiki automatically put a redirect where your old page (page 1) was, redirecting to the new page (page 2)
  • I realized the title was wrong anyway (a missing "r"), so I renamed page 2 to Item:Crest of the Scorpion (page 3); that implied:
    • The wiki automatically created Item:Crest of the Scorpion (page 3) and copied the contents of page 2 to page 3
    • The wiki automatically put a redirect where page 2 was, redirecting to page 3
  • Since there is no need to keep around a page with a wrong title that redirects to another redirect (people won't even find it when using the wiki's search function looking for the right title), I deleted your original page (page 1)
  • Heh! While I was writing this, JJMC89 (Contribs • Message) deleted Item:Crest of the Scopion (page 2), too

At this point I realized that there's still one person that could be looking for your original page by direct title: you (or your web browser's history function). Hence this message. Hope we didn't bewilder you too much. :-)

At some point in the near future, the current page (page 3) will be linked to all pages referencing the crest and it will be just a click away.
