Tomes are rare and powerful books that grant permanent benefits to a character. These benefits persist across reincarnation.
- Ability tomes grant a permanent inherent bonus to an ability score. Up to +8 bonuses are available.
- Mysterious Remnant Tomes grant bonuses to offense and defense.
- Racial Enhancement Point Tomes grant extra Action Point(s) usable in racial enhancements tree.
- Tomes of Skill grant a permanent inherent bonus to a skill. Up to +5 bonuses are available for all skills.
- Tomes of Learning permanently grant a bonus to heroic or epic experience a character gains.
