This quest, after you disarm 10, adds optional disarm 20
The quest can be completed with a hireling
Ghost Touch weapons are a very good thing to bring on this one. You must have a ranged weapon to complete this quest, since you need to hit a switch in the roof. Some fire resistance is also useful.
To purify the South Alter with a hireling - place your hireling at the inner portculis - go down the hall and shoot the switch in the roof - run around till you can see the South Alter through the exit portculis - command your hireling to use the alter - when he/she does the exit portculis opens and you can enter the fight.
Cannot find traps[edit]
1/12/19: Guessing that the traps/panel are bugged and are unfindable. Could not find one trap or control panel on elite with a search skill of 27 (and standing right next to the known location). — previous unsigned

- Most older quests at Level 8 (Elite) have a 'Suspected [Search]' value of DC:28 for traps. Refer to Quest Level 8: Search & Spot DCs. Therefore it's very unlikely a Search value of [27] would reveal the trap Control Panel on Elite setting.
