Move from Flesh Render[edit]

Just want to know why move them from Flesh Render to Fleshrender. The official source spell it as two words. Nibelung (ContributionsMessage) 19:37, August 7, 2015 (EDT)

  • That source is for the Flesh Render mob specifically. It's also almost entirely based on DND. Had a discussion on IRC before the move and, although I have no official confirmation from a dev, the subrace seems to be Fleshrender in game. I'd be happy to discuss more if there is disagreement. I made sure to set up everything with redirects, so it does no harm whichever it is at. I mostly figured Fleshrender would be the more likely search term with the new Shavarath Fleshrender monster and the fact that seems to be the sub-race. • Flesh renders are a DDO exclusive monster. It don't have an official PnP version. The first time it appeared, the monster was named Flesh Render. The official description linked above name them with two words. There is also an older monster named Xorian Render (and not Xorian Fleshrender). Sub-races are not listed in the examination screen (They are Type: Evil Outsider, Race: Demon). IMO, if something is spelled wrong, is the new render name. Not every other instance of the monster.
