Minion: Though powerful, this creature is no leader. It suffers a penalty to all saves and has a wider than normal variance in its attack rolls.

Update 5 has rebalanced attack bonuses and saves of non-named Epic monsters across the entire contents. Instead of tweaking them individually, developers gave this debuff effect to Epic non-named monsters all at once. The effect was believed to be -5 to saves, and a special mechanic where they would have to roll their attack rolls twice to see if they hit, effectively doubling the functional armor class range against minions.

In Update 9, this penalty on saves was reduced to -1, and a -50% penalty to hitpoints was added to the debuff.

Removed from the game as of Update 14 epic setting overhaul.
