Name: Keane d'Deneith
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Affiliation(s): House Deneith
Location: Hammersmith's Inn
Hammersmith's Inn[edit]
If you try to talk to him while at level 2 or lower, he will reply:
- Keane d'Deneith: Keane d'Deneith turns a steely-eyed glare your way as you move closer to the table. Your instincts tell you that you probably shouldn't bother him right now.
If you are at level 3 or higher, however, he will reply:
- Keane d'Deneith: Welcome to the Hammersmith. I am Keane of House Deneith. I have never seen you here before which leads me to believe that you are either an adventurer or a mercenary - which are at times one and the same.
- You: I am in need of work at the moment.
- Keane d'Deneith: As part of the Blademarks Guild, like the gentlemen seated with me, I have been charged with dealing with a recent problem that has arisen in the sewers beneath the Deneith ward.
- You: What's going on in the sewers?
- Keane d'Deneith: We're not entirely sure. So far, only the first three levels have been explored. I am relatively unsure of the extent of the problem in the fourth level, except that someone or something calling himself 'Hammerfist the Mighty' is behind it. I need to send a team down and deal with this problem.
- You: So one simply needs to find and take down this Hammerfist?
- Keane d'Deneith: Aye. You do that and House Deneith will be greatly appreciative. Also, there is a reward for those who succeed in cleaning up this mess.
- You: I'll see what I can do. (Bestow quest)
- Keane d'Deneith: Return to me once you've completed the task.
Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make him say:
- Keane d'Deneith: Be cautious whilst you are in the sewers. They can be very dangerous at times.
On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:
- Keane d'Deneith: I see you were able to handle the minor threat in the sewers. I was beginning to wonder if this Hammerfist was truly mighty. But as promised, here is the reward you earned. Thank you for your assistance, <name>. House Deneith appreciates your efforts.
- You: It could have been much worse.
After completing the quest and take the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:
- Keane d'Deneith: Keane d'Deneith turns a steely-eyed glare your way as you move closer to the table. Your instincts tell you that you probably shouldn't bother him right now.
