Description: Chief of the Gnashtooth kobolds. You interrogate him to find the whereabouts of Arlos ar-Kerran and Venn ar-Kerran. His dialogue options are varied (including a very low DC to intimidate him), but it all ends in the same way: Guiding you to Clan Gnashtooth Prison to rescue Arlos.
Clan Gnashtooth Lair[edit]
When you approach his throne, he will speak with you.
- Chief Eechik: Ayayai! Wait! You not hurt big chief! Eechik not want to fight no more!
- You: Tell me where Arlos and Venn are, and I'll spare you.
- Chief Eechik: Who that? eechik not know what you talking about.
- You: (Intimidate) Lie again and I cut off your tail. After that, your hands. Then...
- Chief Eechik: Eeeee! All right, eechick get picture. The kobold chief cringes. Eechick want to keep tail. We have one called Arlos, but never heard of other.
- You: Where is Arlos?
- Chief Eechik: In prison. You go in, get him out. Guards try to stop you, maybe—Eechik can't help with that. They not listen to Eechik much -- Bloodletter's in charge down there.... He shrugs gloomily. As for the other one... maybe Arlos know. Eechik don't.
- You: Where is Arlos?
- Chief Eechik: Eeeee! All right, eechick get picture. The kobold chief cringes. Eechick want to keep tail. We have one called Arlos, but never heard of other.
- You: You know. The two treasure-seekers who came down here. You captured them.
- Chief Eechik: Two? There no two! Gnashteeth only catch one man! Only got the one called ... Erlis? Orlo?
- You: Arlos? Where is he?
- Chief Eechik: In prison. You go in, get him out. Guards try to stop you, maybe—Eechik can't help with that. They not listen to Eechik much -- Bloodletter's in charge down there.... He shrugs gloomily. As for the other one... maybe Arlos know. Eechik don't.
- You: Are you lying to me, Eechik?
- Chief Eechik: No! Eechik no lie! Ask Erlus! He in prison, you go get him out with Eechik's blessing. Guards prob'ly don't care 'bout that, though. They obey Bloodletter, not Eechik. He sighs glumly. Now Eechik keep bargain. you go!
- You: Arlos? Where is he?
- Chief Eechik: Two? There no two! Gnashteeth only catch one man! Only got the one called ... Erlis? Orlo?
- You: (Intimidate) Lie again and I cut off your tail. After that, your hands. Then...
- Chief Eechik: Who that? eechik not know what you talking about.
- You: You're not worth killing, slug.
- Chief Eechik: Yah, you right, Eechik not worth killing. Eechik help you. What you want?
- You: Where are the two treasure-seekers? Arlos and Venn? (see above)
- You: Tell me where Arlos and Venn are, and I'll spare you.
