Greetings.

First read Naming policy carefully. It has tips on how to get you images looking their best on the wiki, and what you should use for filenames.

In this specific case, you should name your file: Sorrel shown.jpg (As it's the shown pic of the shield sorrel)

To get it to show on the wiki:
1. Go to the items page itself: Sorrel
2. Click on edit at the top of the page
3. Find the line |pic =
4. Fill in the proper file name. In this case it should read:

|pic = Sorrel shown.jpg

5. Enter an edit summary. (Show pic added) is fine.
6. Click save page.
7. You'll now see a red link that says : 420x500px, click on that and upload the file to it's proper destination.
Done.. Check the Sorrel page to make sure it looks good.

Note shown pics dont have to be 420x500px, thats just the thumbnail maximum. Description pictures (examination panel) should be exactly 420px wide however.

I added the pic temporarily until he gets it renamed. As to the reason he couldn't edit, I have no idea. The page isn't "protected" in anyway, so theoretically he should be able to edit it Yawgmoth 19:29, March 28, 2012 (EDT)

Reason he couldn't edit is actually a common problem many people new to the wiki face: He did it the most obvious way - clicked the nopic to make it so it's not nopic anymore. Clicked upload a new version.. Error: Page protected. Same reason the page is protected. It's not very intuitive how we have it set up. I'll see if I can improve it to prevent this from happening more in the future.
