Talk:Warpriest of Siberys

"You may wish to pick a different feat for dwarves at lvl 6 since they start with Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Dwarven Axes)." - Isn't this only true if you have Martial Proficiencies (i.e. fighter splash)?

Wow, no one has written anything yet. K. First :)

Warpriest are for those who want some healing ability (obviously since you are a cleric) but also want to be able to go out there and brain a kobold when needed.

I've been running a dwarven warpriest for a while now (lvl 6) and I've found that it doesn't really matter what path you take, you can always supliment your heals if you choose to. There are a myriad of choices under enhancements that will give your cleric the added boost they need to be an effective healer, so play what you like.

Also noticed that at lvl 6, if you choose to simply follow your path when lvling, you gain the exotic weapon prof. Khopesh. (This may only be for dwarves, but since no one has written here about it, here you go.)

As for lvling, I've simply followed my own path (let the system work out my skill points and feats for me) and I've done pretty well. My warpriest is able to solo fairly well (I have suplimented my healing quite a bit and added spell points and items that grant more spell points.) That means a warpriest can easily take on the responsibilites of a prime healer without too much trouble.

One setback I have noticed is with the ability to grant spell-points back to casters. A warpriest is able to do this, but since my dwarf has low charisma, I only have about 3 turns per day, which means I'm not able to restore spellpoints very well. I think that's a valid toss up for being able to fight on the frontline when needed however, while still being able to offer substantial healing ability.
