Talk:Return to the Sanctuary
Rename[edit]
There's currently a redirect of "Return to the Sanctuary" to this page, and I'd like to propose inverting that - making "To Find a Witness: Return to the Sanctuary" page a redirect to it. Reasons why:
- That's the name that appears in the compendium, not the journal.
- The shorter name is more appealing and relevant when
{{The Catacombs}}
is transcluded. (How does that storyarc ToC get generated? I haven't found the includeonly tags in the article.) {{ Quest | unique= }}
concatenates%%PAGENAME
instead of{{{Quest|name}}}
into [[Category:thispage loot]] so the loot table is broken/incorrectly categorized.

- ✔ Support — The #Quest Articles section of the DDO:Naming policy indicates that we should be using the "Adventure name (As it shows in the adventure compendium/LFM Panel - This is what we use, and what most players in-game will most commonly refer to quests' names as.)" as the primary page name and other names should redirect there.
- As for your other questions...
{{The Catacombs}}
was manually created (by me) using the{{Quest chain}}
template which takes the list of quests for the chain as implicit numbered parameters and a chain name defined with{{{chain}}}
. It's currently NOT automatically populated via DPL using any categories as a list because I have no reason to suspect that quests will be added or removed from the story arc/chain frequently enough to warrant that kind of additional load on the wiki server.- RE: Your statement regarding loot categories. If the primary page name and the
{{{quest}}}
in each{{Named item}}
page is correct per the DDO:Naming policy, then the categorization is never wrong or broken.
