Talk:Preventing opinionation and edit spats

It would be nice to read the Warforged's racial feats without the opinions of others. The Improved_Fortification feat can be played to various party and solo strategies, so having Shade's controversial opinions inserted on its page is not necessary or appropriate for a wiki. Please inform Shade not to opine on the game's features in the encyclopedia portion of the site, as well as not to engage in edit spats. Thank you. Snootch 03:11, October 29, 2011 (EDT)

I don't see this so much as an opinionated statement... I only see an experienced based recommendation of wisdom. People who read it are more than welcome to decide for themselves if they wish to take this recommendation from someone who is an experienced player, or they may choose to ignore it. As tech said.. Also there is no edit spat. If you were the anon who made the edit, you should know not to do contraversial edits like that while anon, and also explain in more detail in the summary why you removed the information.

Removing useful information while anonymous, even if it seeems opinionated it not helpful. Re-wording it as you did in your later edit to be more formal is a use and good/useful edit. We should try to be unbiased and formal, but we should not remove information while we do it.

What qualifies as opinion vs useful recommendation, well we can discuss that here or in the discussion page if it comes to that.
