Named item[edit]

A term used to refer to a non-randomly generated item. Unlike randomly generated items these items have unique names and often don't conform to the usual 1 prefix + 1 suffix rule. You can also tell an item is a unique named item by its border - named items have a gold border, better raid-quality named items have a platinum border. These items can't be disjuncted using Cannith Crafting.

Named monster[edit]

A term used to refer to a monster that has a specific name. Useful to say when in the middle of battle and you need to alert the rest of the group to a bigger threat than the normal mobs.
