Goblin race

From DDO wiki

Goblins were introduced to the game with the Masterminds of Sharn expansion pack

Overview[edit]

Goblins are monsters of the Goblinoid type.

Description[edit]

Goblins are the weakest members of the goblinoid race, overshadowed by their hobgoblin and bugbear "cousins." While not the smartest, strongest, or hardiest of the goblinoids, they are the most agile, even when compared to the unusually dexterous bugbears. While not often shown in DDO (with the exception of The Hobgoblin Horde), goblins near other goblinoids are often bound to be working under their more powerful brethren.

Goblins are the smallest of the goblinoid family and the most short-lived. They stand at less than 4 feet tall on average, and live for up to 60 years, though only rarely at that.

Trivia: despite being the weakest of the goblinoids, they were the last to be added into DDO.

Combat[edit]

Like most humanoids, goblins can vary in their Class. Typically, they stick to more rougish attacks: smallblades and crossbows with an uncommon mix of poisons. Occasionally, a goblin may be become a spellcaster, though these are much more uncommonly seen when compared to the amount of casters within the ranks of their more powerful hobgoblin brethren.
