Sitenotice & Sidebar[edit]

We've long discussed in various places on wiki "mostly" getting rid of the sitenotice... In order to do that, we'd need to move all the links currently in it to the sidebar. What do people think of having them all on the sidebar like in this example which would clean the sitenotice for logged in people to only show the "Global notice" when there is one for critical downtime/messages like this example and for non-logged in viewers it would show the "Global notice" and the "please create an account" additional text that is in there like this example -- Copied from Discord chat server via my mobile device, so I'll clean up those links to use T:Revision later etc.. I've cleaned up those links to use {{Diff}}. Just wanted to make sure to get this discussion on wiki too. ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message) 12:21, May 27, 2017 (EDT)

Quest Pages for Korthos Tutorial Quest Series[edit]

I recently added these pages to the Wiki and Technical 13 suggested I post about them here to assess their value and get feedback. All of the tutorial quests are linked to from the NPC Randall's page and include Tutorial: Quests inside Taverns. I posted on the DDOWiki discord an explanation of why I feel these pages are worth having on the Wiki:

"...I feel like they are informative and useful if you are looking through your quest journal and want to clear out mystery quests or are just curious. It is clear when you look at the page what the quests are...and these quests are one of the first things a new player sees. If the first thing a player looks up on the wiki is missing they may not come back. There is definitely no spoilers but even so there is the spoiler warning that is part of the quest template. The NPCs that bestow and receive these quests should have something to link to. Most importantly, they can't do any harm even if you think they are useless."

Thanks for any feedback! :) Kkoliver (ContribsMessage) 12:30, October 3, 2017 (EDT)
