Welcome to the wiki! Anything I can help with? Thanks for contributing to the site, and to our community (don't forget to check out our village pump, similar to other sites' 'forums'). As I haven't had a chance to test the advertisement hiding CSS, did it work for you? Peer ('teh talk' 'teh contribs') 20:35, April 7, 2006 (EDT)

It got rid of your "Welcome to the Enterwiki network..." message, but the google adds still show up. Areon 18:25, April 8, 2006 (CST)
That is... strange. Can you take a screenshot? I don't know if you know any CSS, but if you check the page, it should just be completely hiding the entire light yellow block. Upload a screenshot at commons, and drop it here. Also, just keep replies on your talk page, it's easier to keep track of - I keep some very advanced edit/update notification groups running for me personally, so I will notice as soon as I am on the computer. I've got before and after pics.
Before here: img:Image:Before.jpg
After here: img:Image:After.jpg
I went ahead and checked it in IE and Firefox, and it works fine. So I think it just doesn't work with Opera. Areon 23:42, April 8, 2006 (CST)
Great. Just great - question #2, for caller #2 - did the image uploading system work? Can you see the images ^^/
Yes, they uploaded correctly, although you have to click on the link twice in order to see it (click it once to go to the image page, then click the blank image to see it). Areon 12:34, April 10, 2006 (CST)
So, you are seeing the images? Because I am not, which is worrying. Peer ('teh talk' 'teh contribs') 19:50, April 10, 2006 (EDT)
I see you're using Firefox. You can use the Adblock plugin to remove ads. The only thing is then you cannot click on them ;) Personally I just run IE every once in a while to do some clicking. Tihocan 11:55, April 10, 2006 (EDT)
@Tihocan, we're trying to troubleshoot the advertisement hiding method, so that it will work for anybody. That solution may hide the ads for him, but we'd still have the problem that it won't be hidden for other users who took the toruble of registering just to hide them. Peer ('teh talk' 'teh contribs') 19:50, April 10, 2006 (EDT)
Sure sure, was just giving a workaround if he did not want to bother with ads. Tihocan 13:03, April 11, 2006 (EDT)
