Useless template?[edit]
If you want, I could add a switch to the quest where it would change the categories to what you'd want to display and also display the History template. It would prevent the existence of another template. Something like if history is empty, we got the quest template. If history=yes, then it switches to what the history template is.
If I get it right, the only difference between these two template is that a few categories get removed, the retired quest category gets added and we display the history template on top? Am I missing anything? Is there anything preventing the merge of the two templates? --Borror0 13:52, January 17, 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, I'm sure there is a cleaner way to do this. But, I'm not much better than simple edits. The main purpose was to set up a way that when users look at "quests by level" or "quests by patron" - they don't get a list that includes quests they can no longer run.
- Didn't want to completely delete those quests. Although there may not be any reason not to.
- If you know a way to set them up with some sort of "if history=yes" on the main mission template, or think that maybe we should just delete them, that would make a lot more sense. Sojourner9 15:48, January 18, 2009 (EST)
- did it, dont like the idea of deleting them myself. i collected screenshots and stuff for all of them in the final hours before servers were goin down for mod8, um they are just collecting dust for now but i will post em, soon™ !! - yoko5000 23:58, January 18, 2009 (EST)
