Talk:Simple Thrown Weapon Expertise
Did some testing on a fresh character and observed some triple shots happening at 0% doubleshot and 21 dex. Went to investigate and threw a couple of daggers at a dummy; The results:
131 throws; 70 single (53.4%), 55 double (42.0%), 6 triple (4.58%)
This is NOT akin to the description of just getting the 21% doubleshot from dexterity, but rather to getting 21% doubleshot AND getting an additional chance of throwing a dagger (akin to the ninja spy core). The chances for those at 21 dex: double: 21%+21%=42%, which is exactly what I got; triple: 21%*21%=4.4%; single=(100-42-4.4)%=53.6%.
The tooltip should probably be updated to reflect that; I hope they don't nerf it -- it's a necessary feature of this talent to make it even close to shuriken. — previous unsigned
