Slayer

From DDO wiki

The objective of a Slayer quest is to kill a large number of the denizens of a wilderness adventure area. Each area has a specific number of Slayer levels to attain, each increasing level granting increasing XPs.

A Slayer quest is automatically granted upon entering a wilderness adventure area for the first time. It cannot be reset, shared or abandoned. Leaving the area does not reset the number of creatures slain. Completion of Slayers quests do not confer any Favor.

Each area has a set difficulty level with a corresponding minimum and maximum character levels. A character with a higher level than the maximum level suffers XP penalty towards the Slayer quest. This appears to be equal to (Levels over maximum)/(Levels over maximum + 1).needs verification
