5 Star Challenge Difficulty

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Challenge Difficulty is a rating, set by wiki editors, to indicate the difficulty of a particular challenge. It is used to give a rough idea of how difficult the challenge is to complete with all 5 stars compared to others of the same level in a group. Difficulty rating considers a full group doing the challenge at equal level to their own, or at Level 25 if it's an epic Cannith Challenge.

Only options are:

  • Easy: Easier than most of at the same level. Can probably be achieved solo or with a hireling.
  • Average: About the same as most at the same level. Requires a small party or a very lucky run.
  • Difficult: More challenging than most. A full party will probably required.
  • Extremely Difficult: Almost impossible to achieve. Can be achieved, but requires a full party, near-perfect performance, and possibly also items from the DDO Store (especially A Minute of Time.)
  • Impossible: It is impossible to complete this challenge with five stars, either because of mathematically impossible objectives (currently no challenges in this category) or because of a bug. At this time, the only impossible challenges are Kobold Island: Short Cuts and its epic variant, where the objective for killing Orthon Lieutenants does not work.
