Muckbane is a good weapon for hunting oozes and slime as it has Lesser Ooze BaneLesser Ooze Bane: A bane weapon excels at attacking one type or subtype of creature. Against Oozes, this weapon's effective enhancement bonus is +1 better than it's normal enhancement bonus. It deals an extra 1d6 points of damage against the foe. and because it is unaffected by the acid attacks of slimes and the effects of Rust Monsters that cause item damage (handwraps and Muck's Doom also work well). Make sure to open *both* doors to the back area, as each valve has a chance to spawn Muck. |
