Beyond the Rift inclusion

I believe Beyond the Rift is actually part of this chain - it's the final quest required to access the MotU expansion content/E-star. Not sure why it's been left out all this time.  👟 ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message • Email) 👟 23:24, June 12, 2020 (EDT)

(Follow up) - From what I've found, this is how it happened: U13 included only the 1st 3, as a teaser to the soon-to-be-released Menace of the Underdark. MotU didn't exist, so no E-star, so no way/reason to actually get there. Some time later, Beyond the Web arrived with MotU, and somehow the "official" connection was never made on this article (altho' it is acknowledged and tied in on the Beyond the Rift quest page). Adventure pack?

I don't believe we should treat this as an adventure pack, because it only includes free quests. There are other available chains of free quests that we don't treat like this (Korthos Island, A Man Named Baudry Cartamon) so I don't see why this one should be treated differently. • I just looked through the edit history of this page and it's always been marked as an adventure pack right from Shade's first edit. I also see a lot of back and forth with various editors about if this should be an adventure pack or not (including me). In fact Web of Chaos is a chain of three F2P quests published with U13 as promo for the major U14 "Menace of the Underdark" package. The Eveningstar bridge quest Beyond the Rift is part of U14 and was not F2P, although in view of a story arc it's part of the Web of Chaos chain. I have no idea if any of that has changed, especially the F2P status. Also I have no idea if a new account player is able to get to Eveningstar without buying the Menace of the Underdark package now. ⇒ Corgrind (Contribs • Message • Email) 08:10, March 31, 2023 (EDT) Beyond the Rift is, and has always been, free to play.
