Make sure to have your group stay near you while you using Bard songs. You want everyone to have the buff, otherwise the song is semi-wasted.
The easiest way to use Suggestion is to first cast Invisibility on yourself, then walk up to a mob and first play Fascinate, followed by suggestion on your choice of creature (undead and constructs when you have that ability). Then, keep casting Suggestion on any creatures that are still Fascinated.
The good thing about playing songs is you can do it while sneaking or/and while invisible. Wolves and Drow can see invisibility, so make sure you check the monster type before doing this.
Try not to cast Bless and Good Hope on top of each other. Not only do they not stack, but the Bless icon gets bugged and will "pop" nonstop until it the buff ends.[UnverifiedThis statement or article has not been verified in-game. Please verify it!]
Also, try not to cast Good Hope after a party has just rested with a Heroes' Feast; A bug causes the party to lose the immunities to Poison and Fear.[UnverifiedThis statement or article has not been verified in-game. Please verify it!]
Don't forget about all of the benefits (New songs, skill bonuses, spell point bonuses, new enhancements) provided with the Bardic Prestige Classes: Spellsinger, Virtuoso, and Warchanter.
