Tomes are rare and powerful books that grant permanent benefits to a character. These benefits persist across reincarnation.
- Ability tomes grant a permanent inherent bonus to an ability score. Up to +5 bonuses are available.
- (Lamannia only) Skill tomes grant a permanent inherent bonus to a skill. Up to +3 bonuses have been seen on Lamannia.
- Tomes of Learning permanently grant a bonus to heroic experience a character gains.
- Tomes of Fate grant a character additional Fate Points, allowing access additional / more powerful Twists of Fate.
- Tome the level 2 Warforged Wizard hireling that can be purchased for 8pp from either the The Harbor hireling vendor or the guild hireling vendor in House Kundarak
