Note:
This weapon effect can be found on some magical weapons which do the piercing damage type. The effect only occurs when you score a confirmed critical hit with the weapon.

Most favoured on weapons such as rapiers which have a critical threat range. A more desirable weapon may also come with the wounding prefix.

Examples:

• +1 Rapier of Puncturing (minimum level: 4, with no race requirement)
• +2 Holy Dagger of Puncturing (minimum level: 10)
• +1 Wounding Rapier of Puncturing (minimum level: 10, the holy grail of weapons!)
