Orchard of the Macabre is a level 14 Wilderness Adventure Area accessible from The Necropolis, allowing characters from levels 10 through 19 full XP rewards. Requires minimum character level 10 to enter.

Each Rare Encounter is worth 850 XP with a 6,375 Bonus XP for locating everything.

[edit] Rare-Farming Routes

Three routes have been utilized by seasoned players to maximize productivity when farming Shred of Tapestry, pages for the Tome of Untold Legends, and pieces to the Sigil Frame. The routes are listed by color according to the proper map found here.

  • Red - 4 Rares, High yield of loot and/or Shreds of Tapestries.
  • Yellow - 8 Rares, Slow run with high yield of Tome of Untold Legend pages and Shreds of Tapestries
  • Blue - 2 Rares, High Shred of Tapestries yield rate per minute

  • Slay 10 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 605 XP (60.5 xp/kill)
  • Slay 25 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 819 XP (54.6 xp/kill)
  • Slay 50 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 1,115 XP (44.6 xp/kill)
  • Slay 100 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 1,657 XP (33.1 xp/kill)
  • Slay 200 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 2,660 XP (26.6 xp/kill)
  • Slay 400 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 4,640 XP (23.2 xp/kill)
  • Slay 750 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 7,770 XP (22.2 xp/kill)
  • Slay 1,500 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 16,132 XP (21.5 xp/kill)
  • Slay 3,000 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 32,660 XP (21.8 xp/kill)
  • Slay 5,000 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 45,450 XP (22.7 xp/kill)
  • Slay 7,500 Orchard of the Macabre denizens: 59,390 XP (23.8 xp/kill)

There are about 400 monsters per instance.
